This coastal scene of Ram Island Ledge Light was taken from the shore of Fort Williams Park in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. Ram Island Ledge Light is a privately owned lighthouse in Casco Bay. The lighthouse was built in 1905, electrified in 1958, and automated in 1959. The lighthouse is on the registrar of national historic places.
